Jonathan Monk / More Matter Matters

€20.00

Catalogue published on the occasion of the exhibition More Matter Matters by Jonathan Monk, curated by Jonathan Monk and Valentino Tonini, held at Studio Bruno Tonini / Tonini Editore from November 27, 2025 to January 10, 2026

Monk’s work with printed matter stands as a solid pillar of his practice. Over the years, he has refined it with coherence, continuously opening new possibilities and expanding interest in his work from Japan to the United States.

It is also well known, however, that many of his productions are elusive — often unreliable in their traceability. There is simply no record of many of them, and that is an issue.

With this catalogue, our intention is to begin the process of tracking his production — to put in order a modest selection that might serve as an impulse for someone, at some point, to continue organizing this body of work.
