Köln, DuMont, “Similia Similibus”, [stampa: Rasch - Bramsche], 1981 (12 maggio), 24,5x17 cm., legatura cartonata con scatola fustellata e custodia, pp. 280, Cover with a black-and-white photograph applied to the cover, numerous images andreproductions of works in black and white throughout the text. Introductory text by Johannes Stüttgen. Texts by various authors, friends, scholars, and collectors. Edition published on the occasion of Joseph Beuys’ sixtieth anniversary. Among the numerous contributions, texts by Johannes Stüttgen, John Cage, Nam JunePaik, Henning Christiansen, Ulrike Kappler, Ulrike Rosenbach, Bazon Brock. Among the images: Reiner Ruthenbeck, Ute Klophaus, Blinky Palermo, Johannes Stüttgen, Anselm Kiefer. Original stamp of the F.I.U. (Freie Internationale Universität) on the title page. The book is housed in a cardboard box with a die- cut and the FIU logo embossed in green. Inside the box, in addition to the book, is an audio cassette signed by Beuys. A total of 1,200 signed copies, of which 200 are special editions with an attached 90-minute audio cassette signed by Beuys: “Nur noch 2272 Tage bis zum Ende des Kapitalismus” (Only 2272 Days Left Until the End of Capitalism) – a discussion between Joseph Beuys, Johannes Stüttgen, and Karl Fastabend (April 1, 1981). This copy is one of the 200 special editions with the audio cassette.
