Artist’s book with a yellow cover without text, consisting of a first section of 8 pages printed recto only, illustrated with rectangles divided into 20 equally sized squares, on which a series of numbers are annotated. The following 101 plates are also printed recto only and are all gridded, each con- taining two modules composed of different numbers of squares: for example, on the first plate there are two modules labeled “2K – 43K” containing 2 and 43 squares respectively. Our copy shows some differences from the one described in the bibliography by Elke Bippus and Ortrud Westheider both in dating and content: on the title page of the copy we examined there is a handwritten dedication by the artist in pencil dated November 1969, whereas the edition recorded by Bippus and Westheider is described as published in 1971; furthermore, the pages reproduced in that bi- bliography include some tables and numberings that do not appear in our version.
