"To Be Continued is a musical score for guitar, woodwinds, double bass, and percussion.

  • The duration of each page averages 30 seconds.

  • Unless there is a rest at the end of the page, turn to the next one without interruption.

  • Do not play where there is no representation of your instrument, or suggestion of its sound.

  • Where no instrument is specified, decide in advance who will realize the page.

  • You can imitate an instrument if it is closely related to your own.

  • The speech bubbles are evocative of mood and dynamic, and should not be vocalized.

  • This score is designed for the musicians who perform it and is not to be shared with the audience during the concert. Do not use projection.

  • This publication can also be enjoyed by anybody independent of the performance.

To Be Continued was originally conceived for the Ensemble Babel, but can be realized by others; the instrumentation can be modified slightly. The original lineup was:

  • Antonio Albanese: guitar

  • Laurent Estoppey: saxophone

  • Anne Gillot: recorders, bass clarinet

  • Luc Müller: drums Noelle Reymond: double bass"
